Under Canadian Experience Class
When Immigrating to Canada?
Answer : To qualify under this category
for immigration to Canada, the applicant must have either:
completed a full-time program of post-secondary study
of at least two years duration, and have completed
at least one year of full-time skilled work experience
in Canada within the last two years, or
have obtained at least two
years
of full-time skilled work experience in Canada
within the last three years. The study and work experience
must have been obtained while the applicant had legal temporary
resident status either as a student or a worker.
Another requirement of this immigration category
is that the applicant must be able to speak English or French
at a moderate or high proficiency level, depending on the skill level
of the Canadian work experience the applicant has obtained.
